    2012 - 2013 and beyond:

On November 15 - 17 @ 7:30 in the Madeline Wing Adler Theater, West Chester University's Opera Theater will be performing my short scena, Austerity, in Opera Scenes:  Opera as Politics.  My scene skewers the Paul Ryan/Ayn Rand worldview.

On March 7, Carl Cranmer will premiere my Sonata Malcontento for piano in a faculty recital at West Chester University.

Matthew Glandorf has planned to perform my Missa Brevis this season at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Philadelphia.  More news on this as it becomes available.

    Next year and future projects:

I'm working on a few more works this year, one a chamber work for guitar for Marc Wolf, the other a set of songs for countertenor (me) and cellist Amy Sue Barston.

Also in the works for the next year or two is a CD recording of my compositions for Furious Artisans Recordings.  Repertoire will consist of Sonata Circumdedrunt Me for viola da gamba and harpsichord, Sonata Malcontento for piano solo, Nouvelle Chanson des Ouiseux for choir, soli and plectrum lute, and a new set of dramatic scenes for piano and voices with a political bent.  Performers include Melomanie's Donna Fournier and Tracy Richardson, Baritone Randall Scarlata, Pianist Carl Cranmer, Matthew Glandorf and the core singers from the Choral Arts Philadelphia, and The Laughing Bird Vocal Ensemble, and yours truly, lutenist.  Stay tuned for more details.
