    2012 - 2013 Concert schedule (as performer)

    Here's what is on tap for the 2012-2013 season so far...

    September 12, 8:15 PM, Gates Recital Hall, West Chester University:  Solo faculty lute recital:  The Galant Archlute. Music by Kapsberger, Piccinini, Bach and Zamboni.  Free admission.

    September 28 - 30:  With the Folger Consort, Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington DC:  London:  Music from the City of Shakespeare.    

    October 26 - 28:  With the Newberry Consort, various locations in Chicago:  Puzzles and Perfect Beauty II:  Gems of the Ars Subtilior.  

    November 14:  8:15 PM, Gates Recital Hall, West Chester University:  WCU Ensemble-in-Residence Musica Humana Vocal Consort, Mark Rimple, director.  Sixteenth Century French Chansons and Motets.  Tickets required, free to Univ. community.

    November 15 - 17:  WCU Opera Theatre Scenes:  Opera as Politics, Emily Bullock, director.  Includes a World premiere of my "Austerity", a brief but loaded opera scene ripped from the headlines and breadlines, libretto by Lawrence Rosenwald.  Tickets required, free to Univ. community.

    December 6, 8:15 PM, Gates Recital Hall, West Chester University:  Collegium Musicum, Mark Rimple, director.  Music of Renaissance England.  Free admission.

    December 14 - 23:  With the Folger Consort, Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington DC:  Florence:  Christmas Music of the Trecento

    January 11 - 13 and 18 - 20:  I'll be playing medieval lute for the wonderful of The Play of Daniel at the Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, NYC.  Directed by Mary Anne Ballard and Drew Minter.

    February 22, 7:30 PM, Madeline Wing Adler Theater, West Chester University:  Trefoil, Fleur de Valeur:  A Medieval Bouquet.  Free admission.

    May 8, 8:15 PM, Gates Family Recital Hall, West Chester University: Musica Humana Vocal Consort, Mark Rimple, director:  Music of Renaissance Italy.  Tickets required, free to Univ.

    May 10, 8:15 PM, Gates Family Recital Hall, West Chester University: Collegium Musicum, Mark Rimple, director.

    February 24, 2012, 8 pm (guest lutenist):  with Laughing Bird, Anchor Room Salon, St. Clement's Church, Philadelphia - 5 centuries of vocal music.

    March 18, 2012:  Concert in Brasstown, NC with Trillium (Mark Rimple, Wayne Hankin and Marcia Young) details TBA soon.

    April 30, 2012:  with Musica Humana Vocal Consort, West Chester University - English late medieval and Renaissance polyphony.

    May 3, 2012:  with Collegium Musicum, West Chester University - a program of Notre Dame and Aquitanian polyphony and 20th century works influenced by this music (Part, Cage, Rzewski), as well as a premiere of a work by Mark Rimple for early and modern instruments.

    May 20, 2012:  with Trefoil:  "Fleur de Valeur:  A Medieval Bouquet" - Campion Center, Weston, Mass.  Details TBA.
